What is College Democrats?

The College Democrats at San José State University represent a growing community of students committed to civic engagement and progressive change. Our mission is to organize on campus and throughout the South Bay to support Democratic candidates in local, state, and federal elections. Our members are student leaders who are active in their communities while balancing their academic lives. We advocate for the issues that matter most to young people, including voting rights, education, climate action, and social justice. The College Democrats at SJSU work to increase youth voter turnout and empower students to make their voices heard. As part of the broader College Democrats of America network, we proudly represent SJSU students within the Democratic Party.
